Augustin Delgadillo Jimenez

Augustin Delgadillo Jimenez, 87, born on March 27, 1925, in Los Angeles, California, passed away January 5, 2013, in Bellflower, CA. His early years were spent up in Filmore, California, but he resided in Los Angeles, California, where he raised his family, at the time of his passing.

Augustin was a Veteran and was proud of his service both in the U.S. Army and during WWII. He was equally proud of his 30-year career with the Alcoa Aluminum Company.

He was preceded in death by four brothers: Michael, Rodolfo, Daniel, and Benedcito II, one sister, Guadalupe, and one of his grandsons, Joseph.

Augustin is survived by his beloved wife, Beatrice, his sons Augustin and his wife Margarita, Lawrence and his wife Kathleen, and his daughters Dianne and Cynthia. He is survived also by his two sisters, Dolores and Alicia.

Grandchildren: Augustin, Michael Paul, Jeffery, Erik, Alysha, and Anthony.

Great Grandchildren: Jazmine, Dylan, Jessalyn, and Evelynn.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Mortuary, Cypress, California.

* Mass will be at St. Raymond's Catholic Church, Downey, California, from 11:30 to 12:30
* Funeral Service will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress, California, in the Church of Our Fathers from 2 to 3 PM.
* Rite of Committal and Military Honors will begin at 3 PM at the Everlasting Hope location
