On the morning of December 24, 2025, Asuncion A. Magcale (also known as "Siony") passed away in her home in Norwalk, CA, at the age of 64.
Asuncion was born to Ricardo and Sixta Aricheta on August 15, 1961, in Makati, Philippines. She attended Santa Isabel College and graduated in 1982. Asuncion married Melito Magcale on July 30, 1993. She worked in customer service and retail for many years, including Fedco, Robinsons-May, and Walmart.
Siony loved going shopping at the mall, watching TFC, walking at the park, and eating out at restaurants. She was known for her generosity and ability to see the good in other people.
Asuncion is survived by her husband, Melito, her three daughters, Kathy, Karen, and Melissa, her siblings, and extended family members.
Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA.
