Arturo Rolando Reyes Jaramillo, 60, born on February 26, 1954, in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, passed away February 24, 2015. He resided in Los Angeles, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California. He fought courageously and was in battle for 6 months against cancer.
He was the third son of Salomon Reyes and Maria Margarita Jaramillo. He had 5 siblings; Cesar, Saul, Maria Belinda, Anastacio and Maria Teresa. He worked for over 30 years for Safeway/ Vons/ Pavillions. He married Maria Guadalupe Ramos in 1977 and had three children; Sandra, Lisa and Rolando.
Arturo was a soccer fanatic and was very devoted to his Leon team. He was a "Panza Verde" 'til death. Arturo was the life of the party. His dancing skills were like no other. Him and his wife would dance great together, it looked like they would practice at home before a party. One of his favorite music groups were The Beatles and to dance, he would practically dance to anything he wanted.
Lately he enjoyed playing Sudoku, Candy Crush and always read "El Contenido". Arturo was never opposed to go on a trip to either Las Vegas or his hometown on Leon, Guanajuato. You never had to tell him twice about these trips because he had his luggage ready to go.
Arturo was always a very humble and friendly man. He made friends everywhere and was always willing to lend a helping hand. The best part about this man was that he was always a very good listener and gave great advice to anyone. He had a genuine gift, he was very sincere and respectful and that's why a lot of people would go to him for help or advice. He was the type of person to help you by helping yourself. He believed that if you helped others God would help you twice as much.
He was a very hard working individual and was able to accomplish the American Dream, with the help of his wife. He participated, and survived two company strikes. He was a strong believer and supporter of UNIONS and equality for all.

Los servicios en su honor serán bajo la dirección de Forest Lawn en Glendale, California. Peleo valientemente por 6 meses en una batalla contra el cáncer.
Fue el tercer hijo de Salomon Reyes y Maria Margarita Jaramillo. Tuvo 5 hermanos; Cesar, Saul, Maria Belinda, Anastacio y Maria Teresa. Trabajo más de 30 años para la compañÃa de Safeway/ VONS/ Pavillions. Se casó con MarÃa Guadalupe Ramos en 1977 y tuvo tres hijos, Sandra, Lisa y Rolando.
Arturo era fanático del futbol y era devoto a su equipo León. Era panza verde hasta la muerte. Arturo era el bailarÃn de la fiesta. El y su esposa se entendÃan tan bien que parecÃan que practicaban en casa. Uno de sus grupos favoritos eran Los Beatles y para bailar el, le entraba a todo tipo de música.
Últimamente le gustaba jugar Sudoku, Candy Crush y siempre leÃa El Contenido. Arturo nunca se oponÃa a ir a Las Vegas o a ir a su tierra natal, León, Guanajuato. No le tenÃan que decir dos veces, él ya estaba listo con sus maletas.
Arturo era un hombre muy humilde y amable. El hacÃa amigos por donde quiera y siempre estaba dispuesto ayudar a otros. Lo mejor de este hombre era que siempre estaba dispuesto a escuchar y dar buenos consejos a cualquier persona. TenÃa un regalo genuino, era sincero y muy respetuoso y por eso habÃa mucha gente que iba con el cuándo necesitaban ayuda o consejos. Él era el tipo de persona que él te ayudaba a ayudarte a ti mismo. El creÃa que cuando ayudas a alguien Dios te recompensará doble.
El era muy trabajador y tuvo la oportunidad de alcanzar su meta de realizar el sueño americano de comprar una casa con la ayuda de su esposa. El participo en y sobrevivió 2 huelgas de su trabajo. Él era un fuerte creyente apoyador de UNIONES laborales e igualdad para todos.
