Arturo G. Renteria

Arturo G. Renteria, 69, born on August 14, 1947, in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, passed away January 15, 2017. He resided in Norwalk, California, for approximately 43 years, at the time of his passing. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Elvia (Murillo) Renteria; his children, Felipe de Jesus Renteria, Ma. Angelica (Renteria) Encarnacion, Mario Alberto Renteria, Noemi (Renteria) Luna, and Israel Renteria; his grandchildren, Brandon Rodriguez, Mario A. Renteria, Art M. Renteria, Andres Luna, Alexis Encarnacion, Andrea I. Luna, Yvanna Encarnacion, Nikki Renteria, and Gianni Renteria; and his great-grandson, Damian G. Renteria. Siblings: Luis Felipe Renteria (AZ), Joaquin Renteria (CA), Agustin Renteria (AZ) and Consuelo Renteria Medina (Mexico).

In his early years, Arturo worked in the steel rule die making industry where he worked for the Smalley Bros., Craftsman Cutting Dies, MCG Dies, The Die Shop, JJ & A, and KIVA.

Arturo had a passion for reading the Bible, writing poetry, enjoyed long naps, and BBQ's for his family. He left a legacy of love for his family and hard-work which he instilled in his children.

A funeral service will be held on January 26, 2017 at Forest Lawn in Cypress, California.
