Arthene Baggott

Arthene Baggott, 89, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living in Rancho Mirage, California. She was born on May 13, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Arthur and Hattie Hughes Ray.

Arthene married Donald L. Baggott in 1949 in Anaheim, California. They were happily married for nearly 55 years. Arthene was preceded in death by Don, and by her parents.

Arthene was a loving sister to Bill Ray, and caring mother to Don, Jr. (Carol) Baggott, Ron (Patti) Baggott, Kathie (Mark) Maltese, Tom (Priscilla) Baggott and Steve (Sue) Baggott. She was an adored grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, as well as friend to many.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church, 2100 Mar Vista Drive, Newport Beach, California 92660. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 19, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, at Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Avenue,
Cypress, California 90630. Interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, California, will immediately follow the Mass.
