Arsen Kavoukdjian

We as a family are heartbroken to announce the death of our beloved Arsen Kavoukdjian.  He passed away on July 29, 2023, peacefully at the age of 79, surrounded by his family.  Arsen was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He married Maria (Arcuri) on December 17, 1979 and resided in Los Angeles, CA.  He worked for LAUSD as a Plant Manager for over 20 years. He worked hard to make sure his family always had what they needed. He loved spending time with his family. This was his joy and passion.  He enjoyed hearing eveything that his children and grandchilden were doing and praised them for every accomplishment. He was one of our biggest cheerleaders.  He also enjoyed telling us stories of his childhood and everything he went through in his lifetime.  We were always happy to hear one of his stories and now wish we could hear one again.

Born on January 04, 1944, in Egypt to the late Vasken and Victoria Kavoukdjian, he immigrated to the United States as a young man where they settled in Watertown, MA.  He then moved to California in 1978 where he married and raised his children.

In addition to his wife Maria of 44 years he leaves behind his daughter, Sonia, and her husband John, his son, Steven, and his wife Sarah, and his son, David, and his wife Nancy. He also leaves behind his 10 grandchildren, Kylee, Steven II, Hannah, Reannah, Gianna, Talia, Hailey, Shyla, Joshua, and Ryan, as well as his great-grandson, Zarigh.  He will also be leaving his sister, Alice, and her husband, Sarkis, and nephew Gary, and his wife Carol. He is now in heaven with his late sister, Arsine, and his nephew, Gerry.

Family and friends will honor and remember Arsen’s life by gathering for his funeral which will be held on August 17, 2023, at 12:30pm, at the White Church of the Hills Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA. Please join us after the burial at Steven and Sarah’s home for a get together. The address is 1012 East San Jose Ave., Burbank, CA.
