Armenohi Serop Garabedian

Armenohi Garabedian, 88, of Tujunga, California peacefully passed away on December 14, 2017 at Glendale Adventist Hospital. Funeral services were held at Glendale Forest Lawn's Church of Recessional, on December 26, 2017 at 10:30am.

Armenohi Garabedian born on June 12, 1929 in Baghdad, Iraq daughter to the late Serop Shahbazian and Vartanoush Sayatian. Married to Krikor Garabedian in 1947, she was a devoted mother of one daughter and two sons, Arshaloos, Harout, and Raffi, a loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Self-taught in every way you can imagine as her mother passed away when she was only in the 2nd grade. Taking on the responsibility of her younger siblings at a young age she nurtured them with love and affection.

Armenohi loved cooking, sewing, knitting, bringing her family together and reading. She enjoyed understanding the bible in depth and shared her knowledge with her loved ones and those who surrounded her. Her Christian faith kept her spirit light and blessed with love and joy. She didn't dwell on the trivial things in life and instead led by example. Her beautiful smile and joking nature will be missed.

She had a quiet strength, angelic heart and never complained. Courageous, independent, always calm and graceful, she blessed those around her until her last day when God finally called her home. She was and still is loved and missed dearly. May she rest in peace, Amen.
