Armand Roland Dumas

Armand Roland Dumas, 83, born on July 29, 1932, in Walhalla, North Dakota, passed away November 5, 2015. He spent his time between Buena Park and Auburn California, at the time of his passing. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Dumas Swanson and Paula Jean Bickers, his grandchildren, Zachary Moore, Natalie Moore, Lauren Bickers, Shannon Bickers and sons-in-law Gary Bickers and Douglas Swanson.. He is also survived by his second wife of nine years, Wilma. He joins his first wife of 49 years, Fern Benoit Dumas, his brother Camille Dumas, his sisters Florence Olson and Delima Carriveau. He served in the US Air Force from 1949 to 1953. One of his jobs was in radar in Lansberg, Germany. He scrambled US fighter planes against Russian MIGS. He worked for Boeing in Lakewood, Ca. for 31 years. He worked on the C17 airplane. He loved to play all kinds of card games, Cribbage and Texas Hold 'Em to name a few. He loved Cognac and red wine. He was a wonderful father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
