Arleen Linda Corona

September 26, 1943 — January 20, 2013

Linda Corona, 69, born on September 26, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, passed away January 20, 2013. She resided in Walnut, California at the time of her passing.

On Monday, January 14th, 2013, Linda Corona was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) M3. As she was going through the first stages of chemotherapy, Linda began to have a mild bleed in her brain, which was later followed by heart rate complications. Within a week of being diagnosed, Linda passed away on Sunday, January 20th, 2013, due to an increased amount of bleeding in her brain.

This all happened very suddenly. We had hoped that she would get past the chemotherapy. She fought her best and kept a positive outlook throughout this whole ordeal. With her passing, our family is dealing with the loss of a best friend, a mother, a wife, a grandmother, and a sister as best we all can. Linda will be missed immensely and it hurts us deeply. But we know she is in a much better place, without any pain, and is now rejoined with her mother, grandmother and previously departed family. She will forever be in our thoughts, and in our hearts everyday. We will always remember Linda's joyful smile, her laugh, her playful sense of humor and so much more. We love you Linda!

Very special thanks to our entire family and friends for their continuous support. We love you all!
