Amesbury, MA:  April J. (Thomas) Bergstrom, 63, of Amesbury,  formerly of the Kingston and Plaistow area and Port Charlotte, FL, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Boston.

Born in Exeter, NH, she was the daughter of Russell Thomas, Jr. and Eleanor (Beyer) Bordieri.  Raised in Plaistow, NH, she attended Pollard School and Haverhill High School, graduating with the Class of 1967.  She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Merrimack Valley Home Health VNA.

Mrs. Bergstrom enjoyed the time she spent doing home improvements and decorating around her home.  She also enjoyed gardening, reading and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeremy M. and Marnie Bergstrom of Monson, MA and Keith W. Bergstrom of Stowe, VT; two daughters and son-in-law, Naomi J. Bergstrom of Salem, NH and Sarah E. and Osama Aldaqqa of Amesbury; her father, Russell K. Thomas, Jr. of Kingston, NH; her mother and step-father, Eleanor and Salvatore Bordieri of Port Charlotte, FL; two brothers, Steven Thomas of Bonita Springs, FL and Lance Thomas of Port Charlotte, FL; a sister, Lori Thomas of Kingston, NH; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and her former husband, Richard Bergstrom.  She was predeceased by a son, Jason Silverman and a brother, Brian Thomas.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, December 30, 2012, from 5:00 to 6:45 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., (Plaistow Village), Plaistow, NH.  A service of remembrance will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at a later date in Plaistow Cemetery, Plaistow, NH.
