Antonio "Tony" Sarte, born on September 28, 1936, in Cavite City, has left a lasting legacy of love and accomplishment. He peacefully departed from this world on October 2, 2024, in Los Angeles, California, surrounded by the fond memories of a life well-lived.

Tony was a pioneer in the aircraft industry, known for his exceptional skills as an aircraft mechanic. His career spanned several esteemed airlines, including Philippine Airlines, Continental Airlines, Iran Aircraft Industry, Saudia Airlines, and Qantas. Through his hard work and dedication, Tony contributed significantly to the field he loved.

Family was at the heart of Tony’s existence. He cherished his role as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, providing unwavering support and affection to those he held dear. His dedication to his family was evident in the way he raised his children, Alvin and Kate, both of whom have grown into respected professionals. Tony took immense pride in their accomplishments, firmly believing that their success was his greatest achievement.

Education played a vital role in Tony's life; he worked diligently to support himself through school during challenging times, ultimately achieving his goals and offering a better life for his family. His intelligence, firm demeanor, and happy personality drew many to him, making him a beloved figure among friends and family alike.

In addition to being a devoted family man and a talented mechanic, Tony had a particular fondness for food, especially traditional Filipino dishes like lechon and kare-kare, which brought comfort and joy to his gatherings.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Ofelia; his children, Alvin and Kate; his granddaughter, Bianca; and his son-in-law, Brian. He was preceded in death by his father, Sabino; his mother, Fausta; his sister, Auring; his brother, Buddy; and his sister, Nene.

A visitation to honor Tony's memory will take place on October 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Glendale in California. A funeral service will follow on October 12, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Recessional, also at Forest Lawn - Glendale.

Tony Sarte will be remembered for his gentle spirit, remarkable career, and above all, the unconditional love he bestowed upon his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
