Antonio Rodriguez, Jr.

Aug 13, 1971 — Jul 28, 2026

Antonio Rodriguez, Jr., 54, of Los Angeles, California, passed away on July 28, 2026.

Born on August 13, 1971 in Los Angeles, Antonio Rodriguez Jr., known to many as Tony, was a devoted father, husband and grandfather. After graduating high school, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps.

Following his honorable discharge, Tony built a fulfilling career and vibrant life back home.

He spent 20 memorable years married to his beloved wife, Shay. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, devotion and partnership. They raised four children and five grandchildren and a dog named Ghost.

He worked for over 25 years where he was known for his hard work and camaraderie. Outside of work, Tony was an avid football and baseball fan.

Family was Tony’s world. As a father, he was a constant presence of love and support. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye. As the little brother, he brought energy, light, and just the right amount of mischief to the family dynamic.

His nieces, nephews and grandchildren knew him as the one who could always make them laugh, tell the best stories, and lend a listening ear without judgment. To his friends, Tony was a rare kind and the first to offer a helping hand when times got tough.

Not only was Tony a devoted husband, father and grandfather, he was a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, beloved little brother, uncle, and loyal friend. He left behind a legacy of strength, warmth, and unshakeable honor.

He served with honor and distinction. As a Marine, he lived by the code of Semper Fidelis - Always Faithful - a principle that guided him for the rest of his life. His time in the service forged a lifelong dedication to discipline, integrity, and patriotism. He served his country with duty and pride, carrying the values of honor, courage, and commitment far beyond his military service into every aspect of his civilian life.

Semper Fidelis wasn't just a motto to Tony; it was the way he showed up for the people he loved every single day.

He lived his life with purpose and deep love for those around him. Tony had an infectious spirit and a sharp sense of humor. His presence was a comfort, and his absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be remembered most for his unwavering loyalty, his strong presence, and his deep love for his family.

Tony was predeceased by his son, Aidan (19). He is survived by his loving wife, sisters, relatives, and countless friends who will carry his memory, his laughter, and his enduring spirit forward.

Rest in peace, Tony. Your duty is done, your legacy remains, and you will never be forgotten.
