Antonio Carrillo, affectionately known as Tio Tony, passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born on August 4, 1955, in El Maguey, Zacatecas, Mexico. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, godfather and friend, Tony made a profound impact on everyone he encountered throughout his life.

Tony was a proud member of Local 44, lending his skills to award-winning movies and TV shows. His contributions to the film industry resonate in the creative legacies he helped bring to life. His remarkable talent was not just confined to the screen; it was mirrored in his own home, as he loved playing his guitar and contributing creatively to projects alongside his family.

To those who knew him, Tony was synonymous with laughter and joy. His quick wit and sharp humor brought smiles even on the toughest days. Conversations with him were guaranteed to end with a smile as he had a gift for making life's moments a little brighter. He exemplified love and warmth, a sentiment that echoed through his personality; everybody felt like family when they were around him.

Tony was blessed with a wonderful family. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 52 years, Maria Reyes Carrillo, who stood by him at every turn, sharing in both the joyous and challenging moments of their life together. He is also survived by his loving sons, Homero Carrillo and Jason Carrillo, and his only cherished daughter, Brenda Carrillo. Each of them carried forward the values he instilled in them. His pride was evident in their accomplishments; he beamed with joy having his eldest son serve in the US Navy, demonstrated kindness through his daughter, and took delight in the hard work of his youngest son, who embodies thoughtfulness in every action. Tony's legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Vincent Carrillo and Sofia Carrillo, who filled his days with love and laughter. Tony enjoyed using his creativity in his daughter-in laws, Jiselh Carrillo’s classroom yearly and she will miss his contributions deeply. He was not only a dedicated husband but also a cherished brother-in-law to Rosendo, Carmen, Jose Manuel, Ricardo, and Delia. To them, Tony was like a true brother, always offering support, laughter, and warmth. His relationships with each of them were filled with affection and mutual respect, making him a beloved presence in their lives. His dynamic presence ensured that family gatherings were always memorable, as he cherished these moments more than anything.
