Anthony Carroll

Anthony Carroll 68, of West Covina died Wednesday March 12, 2014.
He was born to the late Rito Carroll and Antonia Estrada January 8th, 1946, in Los Angeles, California. Anthony went to El Serreno High School. He married Alice Bustamante in 1966, June 18 where they where married for 25 years. He then remarried in with Georgianna and was married to her for over 20 years. Anthony and Georgianna lived in West Covina.

Anthony worked for over 40 years for ITT where he was a lead man in the Bellows Department.

Anthony played base guitar since he was a young man while growing up in the L.A. area. He played with several different groups and musicians. But his most recognizable band was the Jaguars & Salas Brothers where together they created a sound called the East L.A. Sound which will forever be played and remembered.

Anthony also had a men's fast pitch softball team for over 25 years and at the same time managed and coach little league baseball.

Anthony is survived by his wife: Georgianna. Children: Alex, Tracee, Destany, Breanna and Jesse Carroll. Step children: Terrylynn, Samantha, Philip, and Christina. He was a loving grandfather to Gabriel, Alfred, Sony, Michael, Johnny, Leileah, Jacob, Dyan, and Anthony. He was also a great-grandfather to Damien.

A viewing will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday March 20th at Forrest Lawn in Covina. Chapel: Church of Our Heritage. Burial
