Anthony J. Camargo

Anthony J. Camargo, 79 of Rancho Mirage, completed his journey home on May 17, 2012. Anthony was born in Thermal California into a family of 9 brothers and 4 sisters. A native resident and devout Catholic member of Sacred Heart Church, Anthony was often found tending to the grounds of his property and tinkering on his "latest" invention in his work shop. As a Mechanical Engineer of over 25 years, he was a hands-on person who's practical skills, love of the classics and of his faith inspired him to write and publish his book, "The Will Chain", and file a US patent for a water saving device. He is survived by his wife, Maria Camargo; sons Tony, Daniel, Luke and Rocky; sisters Angie Ross and Roberta Camargo; and brother Ben Camargo. The family would like to thank everyone who made Anthony's last five months of his journey a peaceful one. Visitation will be Tuesday May 22 from 5 pm to 9 pm with a Rosary at 6 pm at Forest Lawn Coachella. A Mass of Celebration will be held on May 23 at 11 am at Our Lady of Soledad Church in Coachella with burial at The Coachella Valley Cemetery.
