Anselmo Barroga

Anselmo Turiano Barroga, also known as “Momong” to his family, was born on April 21, 1942, in San Juan, Iriga City, Camarines Sur, Philippines.

He is 3rd of 7 siblings of Mr. and Mrs. Agaton Barroga. He attended La Consolacion Academy, San Juan Elementary School, and finished his 2nd year of college education at the University of Mabini. He joined the Armed Forces of the Philippines in 1967 and retired as 2nd Lieutenant with 27 years of service. He married his wife Rosario Barroga  on January 26, 1969. He is survived by his wife; his three children, Roseann Hernandez, Roselle Samek, and Anselmo Barroga, Jr.; and his five grandchildren, Dominic Hernandez, Kathleen Hernandez, Jessica Atienza, Elijah Barroga, and Bea Barroga. He resided in Corona, CA, at the time of his passing.

He fought the good fight with his eyes set on Jesus. The Lord graciously relieved Anselmo of his illness and took him home on August 22, 2024. He is now resting with the Lord forever. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.
