Obituary:

In loving memory of Annelise Pedersen, a gentle soul whose kindness touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Annelise was born on June 14, 1955, in the picturesque town of Odense, Denmark, to her proud parents Jens and Mary Pederson and shared a close bond with her sister Brigit Pedersen, all who preceded her in death.

Annelise's journey was one of resilience and determination, marked by significant milestones that shaped her identity. She pursued her academic aspirations earning her Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University.

Known for her unwavering loyalty, Annelise was a pillar of strength for those in her inner circle. Her kind and compassionate nature endeared her to all who crossed her path. Annelise's commitment to hard work was evident in every aspect of her being, demonstrating perseverance and grit in the face of life's challenges.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Annelise found solace in simple joys that brought her heart peace. She had a profound love for gardening, tending to her vegetables and herbs with care and devotion. Her green thumb created vibrant landscapes that mirrored the beauty she radiated from within.

Annelise was most proud of becoming a U.S. citizen in 2013 and of the beautiful garden she created and tended to with love. She loved books and was an avid reader. She is survived by the many who loved her, her best friend, Andrea Crum, and her beloved cat, Maya.

After a valiant fight, on March 30, 2024, Annelise Pedersen peacefully bid farewell to this world leaving behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy that will continue to resonate with all who knew and loved her. While we mourn the loss of a beloved friend, we take comfort in knowing that Annelise's spirit lives on through the lives she touched.

May we find solace in the memories we shared with Annelise Pedersen – a beacon of kindness, loyalty, and hard work whose light will continue to guide us through the darkest of times. Rest peacefully, dear Annelise, your legacy will forever bloom in our hearts.

A memorial service to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pasadena Humane Society.
