Anna "Genia" Gregorian, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on June 6, 1942, Genia's life was marked by a vibrant spirit that touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Genia dedicated over 40 years of her life to her career as a manicurist, proudly serving an elite clientele that included icons such as Michael Jordan, Al Pacino, and Ashley Judd. Her artistic talent and meticulous attention to detail were evident in every set of nails she adorned, but it was her warm personality that truly set her apart and kept her clients returning time and again.
Genia was a beacon of joy, possessing an infectious smile and a laugh that could light up any room. Her warmth drew people in, and her humor made every gathering a cherished memory. Among her family and friends, she was affectionately known for her stubbornness, setting her ways, and undeniable strength. She approached life with determination and grit, inspiring those around her to embrace their own uniqueness.
Genia held a deep love for Turkish soap operas, often engaging in spirited discussions about her favorite characters and storylines. This hobby brought her joy and a sense of connection to her roots. Her beloved dog, Mikey, was a constant companion, providing her with comfort and companionship during her later years.
The loss of Genia is felt profoundly by her surviving sister, brother, nieces, nephews and many friends who hold dear the rich memories shared with her. The absence of her laughter and light will be a void that echoes through their lives.
To honor her memory, a funeral service will take place on June 6, 2025, at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills - Church of the Hills in Los Angeles, California. The service will commence at 12:30 PM, celebrating the life and legacy of a woman whose spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved.
Though she is no longer with us, the love and laughter Genia brought into the world will continue to resonate, reminding us all of the profound impact one individual can have on so many lives. Indeed, you will be missed dearly, Aunt Genia.
