Ann H. Walch

Ann Walch was born on November 20, 1916, in Woden, IA to George and Wilhelmine (Theilengerdes) Ehlers. She spent her grade school years in Hettinger, ND. When she was 51, Ann went back to school to obtain her GED from LBCC where she fell in love with Math and extended her studies.

Ann (Ehlers) married Floyd Walch in Hettinger, ND, November 19, 1939 and that December they moved to California. Floyd and Ann were married for 60 years, 5 months and 14 days. Two children were born to this union, Carol and Larry.

Ann was the remaining member of her generation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; daughter, Carol; father, mother; and six siblings.

Grateful for sharing her life are her son, Larry; grandchildren, Cheryl and Linda; great grandchildren, Angela, Kenny, Michael, Johnny and Michelle; great-great grandchildren, Kailee, Lana, Mitsy, George, Lillith and Leona.
