Ann L. Pfeil

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ann Pfeil aged 81 on June 22nd 2015 at her home in Simi Valley, after a brave and courageous year long battle with pancreatic cancer. Ann was born April 21, 1934 to Leora and Charles Henderson, in Los Angeles, and lived in California with a short time spent in Colorado during her high school years.
Ann thoroughly enjoyed her home, always working on projects to enhance the beauty. She truly loved their Cambria get away home on the ocean. She spent many mornings and evenings on the deck having coffee or a cocktail watching the sunset after a long day of yard work.
In 1953, Ann married Ken and spent the next 62 years together as a true team. This was an example of what true love really is.
Instead of going back to work at Security Pacific Bank when her children were born she chose to stay at home and provide a supportive and loving environment for them. A decision very much admired by her family. She always did everything for everybody. She was a caring, selfless, kind and nurturing person.

Ann is survived by her husband, Ken of 62 years, son Steve, daughter Debbie, son in law Ed and her granddaughter Rebecca, the love of her life.
Ann also leaves many good friends and family as well. There will be a "Celebration of Life" for Ann at the home of her daughter and son in law on July 25th from 12-3pm.
