Ann Macias, 74, born on August 28, 1949, in Los Angeles, CA, passed away November 08, 2023. She resided in Garden Grove, CA at the time of her passing. Ann is survived by her two sons, Michael and Raymond, and her two grandchildren. Ann was an amazing single mother, who provided all she could for her two sons. She was the epitome of grit and determination. While raising her two sons, Ann worked for the Southern California Gas Company, where she made numerous life long friends & had a lasting impression on everyone she met. Ann retired from the SoCal Gas Co. in December of 2022, after 37 years of service.
Ann had a love for all things British, murder mysteries, gritty crime dramas, all things quilting, and watching her grandchildren grow. One of the things Ann cherished the most was her family. It didn't matter the type of get together, she just loved seeing everyone gather around and having a good time. She loved being able to laugh with everyone, and have people make her laugh. Most people are lucky enough to have and know their family, but Ann was extremely fortunate enough to have two families that loved her dearly. Ann had 11 siblings from her biological family, and six siblings from her adopted family. Ann was a caring sister, a wonderful mother, and an affectionate & loving grandmother who will be sorely missed. We love you.
