Ann Gordon

Ann Gordon, 79, was born on June 30, 1935, to Malcolm and Isabella Ross in Los Angeles, and was the youngest of four children. She passed away from cancer on October 16, 2014, in Rancho Mirage. She was married to William Gordon on July 31, 1965 and they were married for 49 years. She and her husband resided in Palm Desert, CA for 41 years. She was a proud member of Soroptimist International and helped numerous charities. She is survived by her husband, William Gordon of Palm Desert, son Michael Moore of Las Vegas, daughter Teresa Rimmer of Redlands, brother Norman Ross of Lake Forest, CA, and 5 grandchildren.

Ann was one of the kindest, most genuine persons anyone could ever meet. She had a very fun-loving, down-to-earth nature, and made everyone feel loved and respected. She managed her illness with grace and strength, as she approached any challenge in life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Ramon Chapel, followed by a reception in the Ramon Room at 4:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cathedral City, California.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA. Family suggests donations be made to City of Hope or the American Cancer Society.
