Newton, NH:  Ann G. (Queenan) Butterworth, age 53 of Newton, passed away at her home on Thursday April 12, 2012 following an illness, with her family at her side.
Ann was born on December 3, 1958 in Lawrence the daughter of Everett and Mary (Doucette) Queenan.  She was raised and educated in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School Class of 1978.
She had worked for several years as the food director for Cedardale Health & Fitness Club in Bradford.  She was currently employed by Fidelity House at Phillips Crossing in Haverhill as a direct patient care provider.
Ann loved life and had a wonderful sense of humor.  She had a gift for telling a funny story and a laugh that everyone will remember. Ann loved to garden and tend to flowers in her yard.  She loved to travel with her family any chance she got.  She enjoyed going shopping, especially for her grandchildren, whom she loved so much.  Ann loved to go to the movies.  Ann loved the Lord and attending her church in Derry. She enjoyed listening to praise and worship music.  A trained Chef, Ann loved watching cooking shows on the Food Network.  She never missed an opportunity to cook for her family and friends.
Ann was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Patricia Queenan and her brother, Joseph Queenan.  She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Albert H. Butterworth of Newton. Son, Keith A. Butterworth and daughters; Kelly A. Butterworth and Kimberly A. Butterworth, all of Newton.  Brothers; Phillip Jewett of East Hampstead, Michael Queenan of Haverhill and Timothy Queenan of Salem, NH. Sisters; Darlene White of Hampton, Deborah Dunford of Hampstead, Jacqueline Jendrick of Salem, NH, Marie Carver of Cleveland, TN, Theresa Queenan of Hampstead and Jennine Dacey of Haverhill, MA.  Seven grandchildren; Devon, Desiree, Natalie, Quiones, Cameron, Gisele and Ava.  Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles also survive her.
Calling hours are Sunday April 15, 2012 from 6 - 9:00 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main Street in Plaistow.  Funeral Services will be on Monday April 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Newton, NH.
