Angel Clarito

Angel Blasquillo Clarito, affectionately known as "Bogart" and "Boy," passed away on January 29, 2026, just one day shy of his 70th birthday, in Ontario, California. Born on January 30, 1956, in Manila, Philippines, Angel was a dedicated custodian who found great satisfaction in his work and retired after many years of service.

Angel's warmth and kindness touched the lives of those around him. He is remembered for his welcoming personality, always bearing a smile and a sense of humor that brightened any room. He shared a loving bond with his family, especially his beloved wife, Eleanor Muyco Clarito. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with love and joy. Angel’s affection extended to his sister, Aurora Clarito Morada, his brother, Ricardo Clarito, and his sister-in-law, Teresa Clarito. He cherished every moment spent with them, particularly when gathering for meals at restaurants, where laughter and conversation flowed freely.

Gardening was one of Angel's favorite pastimes. He dedicated countless hours to his garden, cultivating beautiful roses that reflected his nurturing spirit. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his passion for music, which brought him comfort and joy throughout his life. As a skilled craftsman, Angel found fulfillment in working with his hands, whether through carpentry, cleaning, or fixing broken items. He was also an enthusiastic cook who believed every meal should be celebrated, treating dining as an occasion filled with warmth and gratitude.

Angel was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Guevarra Clarito and Julita Puaso Blasquillo Clarito, who had instilled in him the values of hard work and family unity.

His life will be honored during visitation on February 17, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills - Faith Chapel in Los Angeles, CA. A funeral service will be held the following day, February 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills - Church of the Hills, also in Los Angeles.

Angel Blasquillo Clarito is remembered as a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend, whose heart and humor will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
