Ana Margarita Bernal, a beloved mother, grandmother, and pillar of strength in her family, has passed away on January 19, 2024. Born on January 18, 1959, in El Salvador, Ana lived a life dedicated to love, kindness, and nurturing.


Ana's career as a florist spanned most of her adult life. She poured her heart into creating beautiful floral arrangements that brought joy to countless lives. Working for the Nordstrom Family as a personal florist was one of her proudest accomplishments, allowing her talent to shine among affluent groups.


Outside of work, Ana's true joy came from her family. She adored her grandkids and served as a rock for them throughout their lives. Her love and guidance were unwavering, making her an irreplaceable presence in their lives. Ana's strong sense of humor always brought laughter and warmth to family gatherings.


An expert in the kitchen, Ana delighted in preparing delicious meals for her loved ones. Her cooking brought people together and created cherished memories around the dining table. Additionally, she had a special fondness for Starbucks Coffee which often accompanied her moments of relaxation.


Ana had various passions that reflected her vibrant spirit. She found solace among flowers and possessed an innate talent for arranging them with artistry and flair. Spending time with her family was always a priority for Ana as she treasured their bond dearly. She also enjoyed indulging in the guilty pleasure of playing Candy Crush, watching Novelas and Lifetime Movies which provided entertainment and relaxation during quiet moments.


Ana's generous nature knew no bounds. Over the years, she not only raised her own family but also played an integral role in raising nephews and grandchildren. Her nurturing nature extended beyond blood relations as she left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.


A woman of integrity and straightforwardness, Ana was tough as nails but always loving. Despite facing the trials of life, she remained resilient and embraced each challenge with her unwavering strength. Ana's genuine kindness touched the hearts of everyone she encountered, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.


Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family members, including her sons Gary and Tony, daughter Grisel, son Ozzie, and brother Victor and Danny. Her grandchildren, nephews, and cousins will carry her legacy of love forward, inspired by the love she showered upon them.


Ana Margarita Bernal's funeral services will be held to celebrate her remarkable life. The first service will take place on February 16, 2024, at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Church of our Heritage in Covina, California from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. The second service will be held on February 17, 2024, at Hope Unlimited Church in Monrovia, California from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. These services will allow friends and loved ones to pay their respects and share stories of Ana's impact.


Ana Margarita Bernal's departure leaves a void that can never be filled. However, her memory will continue to inspire and remind us of the power of love, strength, and resilience. May her soul find eternal peace as we carry forward the values she cherished so deeply.
