Amanda Marin Stratt

Amanda Marin Stratt lived her life as the very embodiment of love. With every breath of her life, she gave love freely and was loved immeasurably. Born in Australia, Amanda lived most of her life in California and made Studio City her home. She fulfilled a childhood dream when she graduated from FIDM and became a swimwear designer for Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, and others. Inspired by her late father, Randy Stratt, Amanda shifted focus and, in 2009, was certified as a Reiki healer by the American Reiki Academy. The following year she opened L.A. Reiki – a cozy healing sanctuary dedicated to the memory of her father that now serves hundreds of clients and was the fulfillment of her life's purpose. Amanda lived a bright life which included joy, passion, and grace that were ever inspiring to those around her. Amanda touched so many lives and leaves so many friends and family members missing her spirit every day, including her mother, Kathleen Stratt; her younger sister, Acasia Stratt; her grandmother, Peggy Crowley; and the love of her life, Tom Breuer. In honor of Amanda's bright spirit, her family welcomes color at her memorial on September 22 at 4pm, Old North Church, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
