Alonso Michael Acosta

Alonso "Mike" Acosta, 64, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in Duarte, California after a long courageous battle with cancer.
He was born October 28, 1955 to Fernando and Cesaria Acosta in Los Angeles, California. He was a graduate of Franklin High School.

On June 8, 1985 he married his wife Linda in Pasadena, California.

Mike was a fun-loving guy with a passion for golf and during his lifetime he had 3 hole-in-ones. His buddies used to call him "Ace." Mike was also a big Los Angeles Dodgers fan and enjoyed going to the stadium or watching the games at home while making some of his delicious barbecue.. Mike was known for his great sense of humor and quick-witted comebacks. He had an infectious laugh that would make you smile even on a bad day. Mike worked in the beverage industry for 40 years and was a hard worker with a great work ethic. Everywhere he went he made friends!

He is survived by his wife Linda, three older sisters, as well as many favorite cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
