Alma Sandra Tirado Almeida

February 24, 1951 — February 6, 2021

Sandra, passed on Saturday, February 6, two weeks before her 70th birthday her family so greatly anticipated to celebrate. She was born and raised in Mexicali, Mexico and was the beloved wife of the late Juan Tirado for 37 years. Sandra and Juan raised their family in Calipatria, CA for 33 years. She relocated to West Covina, CA after Juan's sudden passing to be close to her family.

Much loved mother to her three children and their spouses: Juan (& Candice) Tirado, Claudia (& Arturo) Moreno, Jesse (& Nayeli) Tirado. Precious Nana to Nicole, Jakob, Matthew, Noah, Karissa, Sadie, Natalia and grandbaby on the way. Loving sister to Jesus Olmeda, Miguel Olmeda and Eduardo Almeida.

Sandra devoted her life to her children instilling strong values that have served them well. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a loving Nana. Sandra adored her brothers, nieces and nephews. She had a vivacious, caring personality, was always attentive to those around her and made friends everywhere she went. Sandra greatly enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, novelas, music & dancing, Disneyland, walks on the beach and spending time at her childhood home and cabin en el rancho.

All whom loved her dearly will never forget her incredible strength, tenacity, grace, wisdom, giving heart, delicious dishes and undying love for them. Her family finds peace in knowing Sandra is no longer in pain from her debilitating illnesses and is now reunited with her husband, mother and grandmother whom she spoke of often. Sandra will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Private services will be held on March 31st for immediate family. Flowers for her peaceful rest are graciously welcomed on this day.

Friends and family wishing to honor Sandra are encouraged to plant a flower or succulent in her name.
