Alma Lucille Talley

Alma Lucille Talley 99 passed away on December 30, 2014

She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan July 29, 1915 to Walter Henry Friebel and Myrtle Rose Slough. After graduation from Cooley High School in Detroit Michigan, she graduated from the Detroit conservancy of music and art. She was an accomplished piano teacher, Her art background was utilized throughout her life by the many art works she created for family and friends. Her fashion drawings and copper beadworks were loved by all that viewed them. She continued her art education throughout the years by taking several college classes of the newest art forms.

Alma was married to Francis Julius Bruno from 1934 to 1952 and had one daughter Lucy M., Roylo and four sons Rolin R., Roger A, Donald F. and David W. Bruno. They relocated to California from Michigan in 1945.

Alma married Don Burrell Talley in 1960 and was Mother to his 3 sons Michael, Terry, and Dan Talley

Francis J Bruno passed on 7-19-1972. Don B. Talley passed on 7-09-1977. Alma's son Donald F. Bruno passed on 8-05- 1997

Alma was a career Federal employee working at several air force bases. Her last position was "Base Repair Dispatcher" at George Air Force Base in Victorville, Ca.

Alma is survived by one Daughter, 3 Son's, and 3 Stepsons.16 grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren All have been blessed to know her.

She was a life long Christian, belonging most recently to St Johns Episcopal church in Indio, Ca., then weekly visits from Trinity Episcopal Church in Redlands, Ca.

She will be interred at Coachella Valley Cemetery near her parent's grave sites.
