Mrs. Alicia Ferratt Rios was born on November 18, 1926 in Caborca, Sonora, Mexico and passed in the comfort of her home in Coachella, California on the morning of June 1, 2015, at the age of 88. She was a long time resident of the Coachella Valley and beloved by many. Alicia was a strong, generous, dearly loved matriarchal figure to her family and will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her four children, 15 grand children, 17 great grand children and 1 great-great grand child. All services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Our Lady of Soledad Catholic Church in Coachella, CA. This will include a closed casket visitation from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., followed by a rosary at 11:00 a.m. and a Catholic Funeral Mass held at 12:00 p.m. A graveside burial will follow the mass at Coachella Valley Cemetery, Coachella, CA. All funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Coachella.
