Alice Wheatley

Alice passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 from complications of a stroke suffered in December. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph and her daughter Alice May Corey. At the time of her death she was surrounded by family at her residence at Emerald Court in Anaheim. She was born January 14, 1923 in Los Angeles where in 1942 she married Joseph E. Wheatley, Sr. On her 94th birthday she passed away to be with her sweetheart. Alice was a resident of Anaheim since 1955 where she lovingly raised her family. She is survived by four of her five children which include Joseph (Dianne) Wheatley, Cheryl (Scott) Walton, Richard Wheatley, and Robert (Michelle) Wheatley. Eight grandchildren including James Kelly (Mari) Halbrook, Edward Halbrook, Amy (David) Montalba, Joy (Tom) Bottiaux, Jasmine Wheatley, Nicole Wheatley, Joseph Wheatley, and Aaron Wheatley. The six great grandchildren are Kristina Halbrook, Daniela Halbrook, Juliette Montalba, Adelaide Bottiaux, Luc Montalba, and Kathryn Bottiaux. Services will be held at Forest Lawn Cypress. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 22nd from 6-9 PM. Funeral service will be 9:00 AM Monday, January 23d at the Church of Our Fathers Forest Lawn Cypress.
