Alice Ferris Taormina

Alice was born December 27th 1926 in Detroit Michigan . Her parents were Evelyn and Burton ferris , Alice was one of three siblings , she is survived by the both, Russel Ferris and Fred Ferris . Alices beginnings were that of a typical American family with her father being a police officer and rising in rank to Sargent . Alice was a rare beauty and soon showed interest In modeling and acting and dancing. She won a beauty contest with the prize being a trip to Hollywood and tour with Jack Carson and Janet Paige . Alice was a hit and signed with fox studios after being screen tested by Lucien Ballard ,and melvina fox . She was being groomed as the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Ava Gardner . Fate had it that she returned to Detroit with her new husband Peter also an actor . There they rose to local fame . Alice as a regular on the soopy sales show and night court, and A stint as the local weather girl , and numerous auto shows, print work for ford cars, and fashion ads and countless fashion shows for jl Hudson's . Later years brought her back to California where she continued in movies, such as cheech and chong, gong show and even back on soopy sales show in California . She also was a go go dancer in the 60's in Detroit , and with her beauty and incredable body was quit the draw . Alice met her second husband while dancing ... Angelo,the love of her life . She is survived by two beautiful daughters , Cheryl and Tina also models and actress , and two equally beautifully grandchildren Vincent and Heather with Vincent being a four time Emmy nominee for special fx .her children and grandchildren were the light in her heart that will eternally glow ... She was especialy soulfully close with tina and vincent , and was there for them always,and forever there souls will be intwined through eternity. A special place in her heart was for son in law Donald whom she was eternally GRATEFUL .... Forever, you will always be, the barefoot contessa ..... Wildly beautiful wildly free
