Alice Marie Lowe

Alice Marie Lowe, 79, the daughter of the late John Patrick and Alice Cecelia Faughnan died peacefully on Thursday, January 4th, in Burbank, CA. Born and raised in New York City, Alice graduated from the College of New Rochelle and started her career as an executive assistant at CBS News. She worked side by side with notable television pioneers such as William S. Paley and Fred Friendly. In 1965 she married her late husband, David Lowe Jr. and began a family. In 1970 they moved to Scarsdale, NY and in 1984 they moved to Los Angeles, CA. It was then that she began a second career as a retail manager at Robinson's May retiring in 2003. Alice was a devoted wife of 52 years, Mother and Grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children Dave, Ted and his wife Leah, Megan and her husband Paul Waddell, and Monica and her husband Kirk Scott, her grandchildren, Devin Waddell and Liam Lowe.

Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn, Glendale, on Monday, January 15th, from 5pm to 9pm. Funeral services will be held at the Wee Kirk o' the Heather Church, Forest Lawn, Glendale at 1:30pm, on Tuesday, January 16th.
