Alice Cecilia Diaz

Alice Cecilia Diaz, 94, born on October 24, 1924, in Los Angeles, California, passed away January 16, 2019.

Forever remembered by her family, Alice leaves a legacy of love and strength in her wake. She is survived by her sons Louis, Charles, and Frederick. Alice will also be remembered by her seven grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Christopher, Monica, Julia, Sara, Alana, and three great-grandchildren Jessica, Matthew, and Steven. Alice is also survived by daughters- in-law, Freda, Cathy, and Melissa.

Alice lived a life dedicated to helping others. After raising her sons, Alice returned to school and earned her bachelors degree and teaching credential to embark on a successful career as a teacher where she spent over 20 years at Bassett High School in La Puente, California. Alice will always be remembered for her wonderful combination of warmth, charm, candor and graciouness.

Alice leaves this world to join her husband Louis, the love of her life, whom she was married to for 62 years. A funeral service for Alice will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills in the Faith Chapel.
