Alfredo Rodriguez Andrade, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his Long Beach, California home on December 25th, 2023, surrounded by his daughters after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was born in Mexicali, Baja California on August 15th, 1954. From a young age, Alfredo discovered his deep passion for cars, which ultimately became his lifelong trade. He dedicated most of his life to being an auto mechanic and to sharing his knowledge with others. In his later years, he enjoyed solving jigsaw puzzles, embraced the wonders of technology through his beloved iPad, and indulged in the television series Law & Order.
 
Alfredo is survived by his daughters, Carol (Salomon) and Diana (Luis), as well as his cherished grandsons, Luca and Alonso. He will also be dearly missed by his extended family and dear friends. Alfredo was preceded in death by his mother, Catalina Andrade, and father, Jose "Carmelo" Rodriguez. His departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his spirit will forever live on in the memories we shared and the love he bestowed upon us. May he find eternal peace and rest.
 
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to everyone who kept Alfredo in their thoughts and prayers throughout his cancer journey. All the love and well wishes provided him with strength and comfort until the very end. In lieu of flowers, to honor his memory, kindly consider donating blood or making a contribution to a cancer charity of your choice.
