Alfredo Gamboa, Sr.

 
Alfredo Gamboa, Sr., 89, born on July 11, 1933, in Pangasinan, Philippines, passed away April 07, 2023. He is the fifth of nine children of Juan and Rosario Gamboa. He is survived by his wife, Fely, his seven children: Elizabeth, Alfredo Jr., Cristina, Gemma, Arlene, Gerald, and Jane, and his siblings: Enriquetta, Benjamin, and Eugenia. He follows his son, Edgar, who passed away in 2009. Alfredo Sr. was a generous, thoughtful, humble and caring brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was very inviting and had a lively sense of humor and a genuine smile. He went to school at Nueva Vizcaya High School and the University of the Philippines in Los Banos. He raised his family and spent most of his life in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. He established and ran a general merchandise business, where he worked long hours, seven days a week with the help of Fely and the kids to support his family. Working alongside Alfredo Sr. inspired his children to study diligently in school and work hard in their present careers. He resided in Glendale, CA and was surrounded by his wife and children at the time of his passing. His funeral will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale.
