Alfonso Zavala

Alfonso Zavala, 84, born on August 31, 1937, in San Antonio, TX, passed away February 9, 2022. He resided in Sun Valley, CA for the majority of his life. He was predeceased by his son Ralph. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years Virginia, Daughters Diana (Don) and Jessica (Michael), Siblings Raymond, Al, and Eloisa, 8 grandchildren, Perscilla (Roy), Victoria, Danielle, Elyssa (James), Alexandra, Michael, Joseph, and Ruben. 4 greatgrandchildren, Lusora, Emmy, Kao, and Cash. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary parish and Knights of Columbus council #3148. He was a truck driver for most of his life but always a "jack of all trades". He was very outgoing and would speak to all he met along this journey. He enjoyed his home and providing for his family, watching us all grow and bring home the grandchildren. We will all miss his love and laughter. Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated March 29th, Old north church, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, California.
