Alfonso Sierra

Alfonso was a beautiful caring soul. This, in brief is his story.

Alfonso Antonio Gutierrez Sierra was born July 1, 1938, to Isauro Sierra Morales and Concepcion Gutierrez Zamora in Mexico City, Mexico. He was the youngest of five children (one sister and three brothers): Cecilia, Everardo, Arcadio, and Raymundo.

Alfonso was smart, witty, and full of knowledge gained through all of his life experiences: mechanic, print press operator, supervisor, machine operator- he could fix or build anything. He loved watching his Angels play. He enjoyed playing soccer as a youngster and watching the Mexican National Team play. More importantly he loved being surrounded by family and celebrating life.

Alfonso had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He always greeted everyone with a smile. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. He will be missed dearly.

Alfonso Gutierrez Sierra departed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Felicitas; children, Mario, Alfonso Jr, Aida, Cristina and Rubin; in-laws, Norma, Rafael, and Brandon; grandchildren, Jose, Alexis, Christopher, Jennifer, Maximilian and Nickolas, along with many relatives and friends.
