He retired from a long career as a mining and civil engineer that took him from Romania to Africa, Chile and ultimately Los Angeles, California. Alexandru is survived and loved by his wife Steliana, daughter Antonella, son-in-law Elliott and grandson August. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California.
