Albert Mansoury, 78, was born on February 10, 1934, in Hamedan, Iran, and passed away in Burbank, Ca on April 17, 2012. At the age of 7, he moved with his mother Daisy and brother Robert to Mashhad, Iran and few years later moved to Tehran, Iran. His Uncle Charles, came from Russia to live with them, since Albert's father passed away at a young age. Albert went to Firooz Bahram High School and graduated in 1952. After graduation, he was employed at the American Embassy, Point 4 from 1958-1963. In 1960 he met his wife Clara Avanessian, and they married in 1962. They were blessed with 2 children, Caroline (Cookie) and Cathy.

From 1963-1969 Albert was the head of Human Resources at Persi Gas in Iran. In 1969, the Mansoury family moved to the United States where he attended and graduated from Cal State L.A. He also received his master's from UCLA in Accounting. In 1974 he worked for Blue Cross and retired in 2004. Albert had a passion for all kinds of music, mostly classical, Greek and Latin. He loved to read and garden. His favorite sport was soccer.
Albert was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Aysha, Lorenzo, Brandon and Patrick. He was loved by his family, friends and co-workers. Everyone loved his sense of humor, his positive attitude towards life and his infectious smile. In 2002, Albert was diagnosed with cancer and survived, however, he was challenged with other complications that arose from the cancer. He fought a long and difficlut battle and finally succumbed to his death on April 17, 2012.

He is survived by his wife Clara, daughters Caroline (Cookie) and Cathy, brother Robert, grandchildren Aysah, Lorenzo, Brandon and Patrick, nephew Darren. The family would like to extend their gratitude for all the love and support we have received from family, friends, co-workers, and especially his doctors and medical professionals that cared for him.
