Albert Francis "Tito" Garcia, a cherished member of the Los Angeles community, passed away peacefully at home in West Covina on March 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 9, 1936, in Los Angeles, Albert's journey through life was marked by a big personality and an even bigger heart.

Albert dedicated over 30 years of his career as a line supervisor for Pacific Bell before retiring early at the age of 52, allowing him to pursue his passions in real estate, restaurant ownership, and industrial renovations. He was a proud graduate of Cathedral High School and California State University, Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Albert honorably served in the U.S. Army, demonstrating his commitment to service and country.

Known for his witty and sharp-tongued demeanor, Albert had a remarkable ability to light up any room with his humor and warmth. His love for tequila, cooking, parties, fishing, and good food, especially Mexican cuisine, enriched his life, as did his love for family and friends. He was an enthusiastic traveler who loved the water whether in his home swimming pool or traveling, creating countless memories with those he loved.

Albert found pride in being fluent in beautiful Spanish alongside his native English, a testament to his rich cultural heritage and deep love for his Catholic faith. He leaves behind three children: Albert Garcia Jr., Margaret Woods, and Yvonne Lacey, along with his three cherished grandchildren, William Woods, Victoria Moreno, and Kristian Garcia. He also had the joy of two great-grandchildren, Lucas Woods-Balanzatequi and Mason Moreno. Albert's legacy continues through his sister, Alicia Olds, cousins, and many nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.

He was predeceased by his devoted wife Rita Garcia, brother Armando Garcia, and sister Alma Lucero, all of whom he missed dearly but who remained a part of his cherished memories. There will be a Rosary Service on Thursday, May 8th at 7 PM at Sacred Heart Church in Covina.

Services in Albert's honor will take place on May 9, 2025, with a 10 AM mass at Sacred Heart church, followed by internment at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills in Covina, California with a celebratory gathering afterwards. Family and friends are encouraged to gather to celebrate the much-filled life and memory of this remarkable man. As we remember Albert Francis Garcia, we honor not just his achievements and joyous spirit, but the love and friendship he shared with everyone he encountered.
