Alan Sario Reyes

Reyes, Alan Sario, 59, was born on October 24, 1958 in San Carlos, Negros Occidental, Philippines, passed away November 12, 2017. In 1982 he married the former Jane Joco and they have three sons, Carl, Jason, and Ryne. Alan and Jane also have 4 grandchildren, Miyuki (7), Carson (2), Bayani James (2), and Felicity Jane (9 months). In 1985 he enlisted in the US Air Force as a Power Production technician and attained the rank of "Buck" Sargeant. Following a major vehicle accident, he was medically retired from active duty and in 1989 he and his family moved to Long Beach, California. He attained his Associates Degree in Business from Long Beach Community College, while working for the Department of Veterans Affairs. After leaving the VA in 2002, he joined US Customs and Border Protection ultimately becoming an Entry Specialist. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2014. He resided in Long Beach, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, California.
