It is with deep love and gratitude that we remember Goorjie Akanoush Mehrabi, born in 1930 in Malayer, Iran.
Goorjie was a devoted mother to her children, Janet, Shavarsh, and Juliet, and a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother who found joy in caring for her family.
She expressed her love through quiet acts of care — through her cooking, her knitting, her stories, and the warmth of her smile. She created a home where everyone felt welcome, comforted, and loved. [Maybe something about her sense of humor and green thumb?]
