Agata Serafini De Riggi,
Beloved wife, mother and Nonni, Agata came straight to Los Angeles California from Cicciano, Italy, a small town in the province of Naples. Newly married when she arrived in 1949, she quickly adapted to living an American life style, and even became a Cub Scout Den mother. An amazing cook and hostess, she warmly welcomed all to enjoy her delicious cannelloni, calamari, biscotti and limoncello.

Using her talent in knitting from her youth, she created a career teaching others how to knit and crochet. she was a favorite of her students, many of whom became life-long friends. Active in the Italian-American community for many years, she helped raise funds for Villa Scalabrini through volunteer work with The Patrons of Italian Culture. She was devoted to and loved by her 4 grandchildren, who will greatly miss her.

Pre-deceased by her husband of 47 years in 1996, she is survived by her son, Tony (Margie) Daughter, Carol (Fred) and grandchildren Alana, Maria (John), Mia (Nate) and Tony.
Donations in her name may be made to Villa Scalabrini Retirement Center.

Funeral Service to be held at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, on Monday March 7 at 3 pm in the Church of the Hills.
