Adela Razo

September 16, 1965 — May 10, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Adela Razo Santoyo, a cherished daughter, sister, wife, auntie and friend, who left us far too soon after a courageous battle with cancer. Adela departed this world on May 10th, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family and friends.

Born on September 16, 1965 in La Concepcion, Michoacán to her parents Jorge and Clotilde Razo. Adela was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. Her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter could brighten the darkest of days. She was an embodiment of love, kindness, and resilience, qualities that defined her life and touched everyone around her. As a daughter, she brought immeasurable joy and pride to her parents, who remember her as a loving and compassionate soul, always ready to offer a helping hand or a listening ear. As a sister, Adela was a confidante and a source of unwavering support. Her siblings will forever cherish

the memories of shared laughter, adventures, and the deep bond that only siblings can know. In her role as a wife, Adela was a devoted partner, whose love and dedication were evident in every aspect of her marriage. Her husband, Carlos will forever hold dear the moments of joy, love, and companionship they shared, and the strength and courage she showed even in the face of adversity. She took so much pride in being an Auntie. She was a blessing to her nieces and nephews and demonstrated how important they were in her life by the love and support she poured into each one of them. They held a special piece of her heart and thankfully the memories of their unique adventures with their beloved “Tia Adela” will live on with them forever. Adela was also a treasured friend to many, known for her generosity, empathy, and the ability to make everyone feel special and valued. Her friends remember her as someone who could always be counted on, whether it was for a heartfelt conversation or a spontaneous adventure.

Throughout her life, Adela demonstrated an unwavering zest for life. She was passionate about crafting, gardening, and shopping, and she inspired those around her to live life to the fullest, just as she did. Though Adela has left this earthly realm, her spirit and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She leaves behind a world that is better for having known her, and she will be deeply missed by all.

A celebration of Adela’s life will be held on May 20th at Forest Lawn Cemetery. May Adela rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
