Adam Lotz

Adam Lotz, 86, born on October 5, 1926, in Bonyhad, Hungary, passed away December 6, 2012. He resided in Big Bear City, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
Adam married his wife Lydia in 1954 and the two of them came to America in 1955. One year later their daughter Aida was born. Adam and his family settled in South Gate, California. It was Adam's dream to retire and live in the mountains and so he purchased land, designed and built their home there, which they enjoyed on the weekends until making their permanent move there in the early 90's. Adam and his family were able to travel back to Europe on many occasions, and have many family members and friends that still reside there. Adam was a very active member of his church in South Gate, singing tenor in the choir and being their church soloist. He was a craftsman in the true sense of the word and was always busy creating, whether it was an addition on their home, landscaping, gardening, woodworking or painting. Adam retired from a long career at Beckman Instruments/Sensor Medics where he was a machinest. Adam lived life to the fullest, loving a good joke, helping others in need, and providing a good life for his family. He will be missed by so many, yet we know that he is with his Lord and that he is at peace.
