Abraham Padua Floresca, 91, born to Jacinto Floresca and Eusebia Padua on October 17, 1934, in Caba, La Union, Philippines, passed away on July 12, 2026, in Lake Forest, CA.

Abe, as he is fondly called by his family and friends, graduated from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. He enrolled at Adamson University, completing a Bachelor of Laws and successfully passing the Bar Exam. He married his childhood sweetheart, Linda Aragon, in September 1963. He worked at International Harvester in Manila, Philippines, for 21 years and retired as an Assistant Corporate Secretary.

After moving to the US, Abe lived in Los Angeles with his family and worked at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where he retired in 1997. He loved to watch Kobe and the Los Angeles Lakers, go fishing with his brothers-in-law and nephews, visit the casinos, and travel with his family. Abe and Linda later moved to Santa Clarita to enjoy their retirement years.

Into his old age, Abe retained a sharp memory. He could recall the days of hiding in the mountains as a child during World War II and even recount childhood memories of his kids and grandchildren that they had forgotten. He always happily greeted his loved ones by name and reminded them to take care of themselves before they left.

Abe is survived by his children Joy, Joan, Jo, Jeff, Celine, and Karen, and his grandchildren Jordan, Loren, Ben, Abi, Hannah, Jacob, Nico, Caleb, Sarah, and Klay.

In honor of Abe’s last wishes, a gravesite service will be held at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
