Abelardo Hidalgo Bautista

Abelardo Hidalgo Bautista, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 23, 2024 at Western Convalescent Hospital. He was born on January 25, 1940 in Bautista Pangasinan Philippines to Arcadio Bautista and Ebafumia Bautista. He is the second eldest of the three children.

Baddo, lived his life on his own terms. A graduate of Far Eastern University in Manila Philippines, majored in Commerce, he was his own boss. While his sisters ventured abroad, he took care of the family's land and agricultural business back home. He valued loyalty and lack of deceit. His ingenuity made him a great provider. A man of few words but more of actions. Very meticulous in his personal life which shows the only handful of friends that he can fully trust. You would rarely see him smile. But when he is around his grandkids and great grandkids, who he loved the most, you will see and feel a different aura. Abelardo is very hard to please for good reasons. He made sure that whatever you bring is for his family's best interest. He might not show it a lot, but he is a very caring, kind and loving grandfather, father, brother, uncle, friend and overall a great person. 

He is survived by his two children, Arcadeo Bautista(Charina Isaac Bautista), Blesilda Bautista Rosario(Ogie Rosario), his grandchildren Nicole Bautista, Allen Rosario, Dale Bautista, Kailee Bautista and Karylle Bautista, his great grandchildren Leonardo Clark Bautista and Lorenzo Clark Bautista and his sisters Leticia Bautista and Connie Bautista Mariano.

A viewing service for Abelardo will be held on Friday, August 09, 2024 from 12pm to 8:00pm at Forest Lawn Cypress 4471 Lincoln Ave. Cypress, CA 90630.
