Abelardo Manahan Albania

His life was well lived and he was well loved! The Lord called him home peacefully at 89 years of age.

Narding (Tatay) was born and raised in the Philippines, he lived in Valenzuela, Metro Manila and permanently moved to the United States of America in 1993.

He graduated at the Far Eastern University with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He was survived by his wife of 62 years Maxima "Mameng" (nee Barredo).

Tatay was a devoted and proud father to his 11 children Freddie, Malou, Jun, Boie, Cathy, Willie, Lehn, Mai, Bobot, Jouie and Marivic.

Beloved Lolo Tatay to his 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by his sister, half-brothers, half-sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family and friends.

He loved listening to the music of Frank Sinatra, Ray Conniff, Neil Sedaka, and John Denver, among others. He was known for the 1957 red Chevy Bel Air that he used to drive around in Manila, Philippines.

Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is now in the presence of our Creator in Heaven watching over us.

A memorial service, to be officiated by Reverend Pastor Eric Angeles of New Hope International Christian Center, will be held at the Forest Lawn, Cypress CA on Friday March 19, 2021 at 9:30 AM.
